I finally gave my adsense stats a careful look and it appears to me the reason I'm not doing as well is that people simply aren't clicking on the ads as often . The traffic is still there but not as many clicks.

Is this just me or is anyone else noticing this?

Across 70 advertisers spending on AdSense, CTR went down 12% but CPC went up 13%. Interesting data, so thought I would share.

Interesting. I've had a similar experience, though with a bigger drop in clickthrough rate and a bigger gain in average earnings per click.

Don't see lower click through rate but know it could happen. Suggested in the past MFA and junk sites could lead to lower CTR across the board, but it could be simply due to "overuse" of Adsense.

In any case, if it happens, the market will work this out. Earnings per click will increase. Advertisers sometimes need those clicks more than we do, especially businesses dependent on the internet.
