If they decided to cut gifts off, they should have AT LEAST had an interim year where they donated money to a charity of our choice, or something.

Maybe they just weren't getting enough PR out of the gifts.

Maybe we should be BLOGGING about how we did or didn't get gifts from them this year? Squeaky wheel and all. I'll wager Yahoo and MSN would perk up on that, too.

The gift part honestly doesnt bother me, the card part does have me a touch irked. We have partners that make 1/1000th per month that google makes from us and they all sent us cards and vice versa.

Well, its a worrying sign, when a company that gives you something for 3 years in a row suddenly doesn't acknowledge you at all, other than a random and unpersonalized card that a computer could have spit out.

There's never any direct contact w/ Google, no representative to talk to, and there are changes happening all the time. Like in November when they changed how the ads are clicked on - I get it, that's a good thing long term, but it came out of nowhere. All this stuff does. We rely on them so much, but have no real contact with them.

And then no gift. Why? That's all I ever want to know w/ Google, why a gift 3 years in a row this year, nothing?

Were we ALWAYS "Google Lottery Winners" these past 3 years? Is there a revenue cut-off? Is it a matter of us relying on them so much more than they need us?

It's really frustrating.

This was my first six figure year; big increase for me. I thought for sure it would be my first Google gift, but it seems they've scaled them back this year.

Same here, my first 6 figure year and what did I get in the mail this morning, yep a Christmas card:)

Oh well, gift or no gift, this years earnings is a gift in itself.
