Is there a consensus?

Google rolled out a new smart pricing algo (which also caused the glitch)

Our Google product referrals now yield higher (but still miserable) ecpm than adsense ads.

Since product referrals pay per action/conversion, it means that whatever new smart pricing was used on our account since Oct 20, it unfairly punishes us.

This might be a big reason why eCPM is slumping, check these threads out and do you see a trend? May be its not the publisher being slapped, may be its the advertiser:

September 17th: Google $10.00 Click Minimum on All Keywords

October 30th: Google Damaging Your Quality Score

November 2nd: Quality score is Great

November 8th: My 4 Month Campaign went to $10 bids overnight

I had pre-glitch levels yesterday and for 1/2 of today it was great then, over the past 4 hours levels went down the crapper.
I'm really hoping for a click dump!
This is crazy

I haven't noticed any big slump this month. Just the usual mixture of days that are good, bad, or in between. November CTR and overall eCPM are running slightly lower than in the previous several months, but that's typical for my topic in November and December.

My sites cut across a wide variety of industries. PR 6-7. Good traffic.

eCPM is down about 10% each month last 3 months.

Today was the worst eCPM day in 4 months, even though my traffic and CTR was normal.

Haven't changed anything in terms of formatting or content. Maybe I should.

As this thread is reaching the hundred post mark, why doesn't the original poster
"Frakilk" or someone else analyze the replies?

Maybe divide the answers up in four broad categories and total them.

This would answer the original question, "is there a consensus"?...KF
