Based on around 150,000 page views per month, taking into account good placed adsense, what are some of you making monthly?

My site is about 4 months old, and broke 150,000 page views last month, and I was debating putting adsense on there.

I know it can vary greatly, but from those of you who have well optimized sites, what kind of return do you see?

Also, has anyone been able to successfully integrate adsense into their ecommerce site, and not hurt ecommerce sales?

In terms of adsense impressions means nothing IMO. In my second month (2 months ago) I had 54,975 visits and 90,485 page impressions I got somehwhere around 45-50 bucks. It's the clicks where you make money.

If you ever get some decent traffic ie, 300k to 500k visits not just impressions, try looking for targetted direct advertisements from advertisers instead of cluttering with google ads.

I am slowly but not entirely trying to move away from google ads and trying other ways of advertisement by directly contacting advertisers in my niche. I have got some good responses so far. But not everyone gets lucky, and you don't have to share the advertisers money with google or any other such services.

You probably won't get many answers to your question.

Traffic volume is not the determinant of earnings, unless its factored with ctr and quality of your advertisers. (there's even more to it, but this is the short explanation)

On your volume? Somewhere between $10 and several thousand a month.

See, it's a question that has no meaningful answer.

Put adsense on it and you now the answer. If you don't like it afterwards, take adsense off. No harm done.
It's very difficult to calculate :
Best case scenario : 150000 x 10% CTR x 1$ pro click gives you 15000 $
Worst case scenario : 150000 x 0.1% CTR x 0.05$ pro click give you 7,5 $
Both are possible. Difference is 14992,5 $

It is nearly impossible to calculate but over several years, topics, languages, etc. our conclusion is that you can hope for about $400-500 a month, but there are so many variables that unless you really try it you wouldn't know. The source of traffic, the focus of the content, page design, profile of visitors, etc. have a huge role to play.

So has anyone successfully integrated adsense into their ecommerce websites and not lose ecommerce sales?

How on earth can you make such a prediction? Based on what?

Yes. I actually saw an increase in ecommerce sales.

But I think it would be different for different sites depending on the layout, item(s) being sold, topic, etc.

Absolutely impossible to tell. It will all depend on CTR and CPC.

One of my sites has 150,000 impressions a day and earns around $100 a day but another could earn $1,000 a day with the same impressions.
