I already received my check (Standard Delivery) but I found out that I have to open up a dollar bank account in order to deposit the amount. Now I want to cancel this check and use Western Union for the transfer. Does anybody here know how to do this or is it possible?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Bhoget,

I think your best bet would be to contact AdSense support

Thanks jatar_k, I already sent an email to adsense-support but up to now I have not received any reply from them and it's already been 9 days already. Has anyone experienced my situation before to request to cancel my check and use Western Union instead? Would they send me my earnings through Western Union if I ask them to re-issue my check since I already changed my form of payment to Western Union? I'm sorry to bother you guys but adsense-support is just taking too long to answer. Anyone, please help?

If the check has been issued, I doubt they will go back and cancel it, and then send it again. But Google is the only one who can tell you that for sure.

I don't know which country you live but that should not be true.
You can deposit ant Foreign currency check in any bank account you have. You never need to open a account in that currency.
Speak to a senior manager of your bank and they will take care of it.Only issue is it will take 3-6 weeks to clear and they will deduct around 10$ as fees.
