Hi
I know that Arabic adsense is still not well supported, let's say alpha stage, but in my case, with a ctr at 0.13%, I'm really surprised!

Page impressions:30,000
Clicks:40
Ecpm: $0.02
Earnings:$0.75

So what do you suggest me guys, continue effort to improve it, or give up and look for something else?

Regards.

It seems almost certain that there isn't a large enough pool of advertisers for your niche on Arabic adsense. I know that when viewed within certain countries my adsense doesn't perform well for the same reason.

Hello lood2 ,

I have also an arabic site , my daily impressions about 15000 and the earnings at least x10 of what you earn.

It looks your site is a forum - forums and AdSense aren't the best friends.

In spite of that , try to change the ads position , your ctr is very low. something wrong with the ads position!

Try to use link units instead of ad units - it works!

Use channels. Check which channels are "Hot".

PM me , i will be willing to have a glance on your site.

You may try finding specific Referrals products that matches your niche.

Thanks for who is trying to help.
Here is my situation:

It looks your site is a forum - forums and AdSense aren't the best friends.

Yes, it is
I'm placing my ads after fist post and every 10 posts and i'm also using Link unit below Ad unit.
And here is my sections for postbit:

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->
<div id="post_message_$post[postid]">$post[message]</div>
<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Is there a better position on Vbulletin forum?

Regards.

You may also want to analyze traffic sources. Is it organic or mainly referrals? What kind of sites refer to your site? Do you buy some traffic? It could be Google is treating a lot of clicks as invalid, leading to lower average CPC. Use channels, verify if you have $0 clicks.

Not sure why war in Iraq was previously mentioned, but if your site is "war related" then public service ads may be served on some (or most) pages. This would explain why you would have low ctr.

Lood,
I don't have experience with forum sites, however I have read that they can be very difficult to manage with adsense. Perhaps conduct a search here at WW on forums, ctr and adsense. Your EPC is also very low, perhaps the threads here might also post some light on the matter.

Analytics says:
search engines: 44,13 %
direct access: 44,05 %
referrals: 11,82 %

And not at all, my site is not "war related",
it's mainly talking about computer/internet/mobiles/music...

Regards.

I would leave the ad boxes on the top and drop the rest... try and get a CPM deal and place that there or sign up as an affiliate for something in Arabic and post the banners lower in the forums.

The only other method would be to place the ad box next to the first post a visitor sees.... may take a little work since most programs provide the link to the actual post in the thread when you come back it could be done.

Also forums convert less as you have a lot of repeat visitors.

Try image ads if you must multiple list Google ads. Text at top and a couple of image ads in lower spots.

Ads don't do as well with a lot of the same regular users. I'm sure you can improve your performance, but as others say, forums aren't the best performers.
