Well, I usually do lower every summer but this summer has being real bad, I am down by 80% and the CTR Up and Down, which is due to advertisers pulling out on the summer, but what concern me the most is the eCPM or price for click, I usually even out somewhat because I had hight eCPM when there where low clicks,

Am I the only one :)

Since I last posted, I have seen a slow rise in the value-per-click I am getting, but it's still around 1/2 of what it was in the "dire days of August".

Thank heavens we also have a great, pay-per-slot advertiser on our site!

( If you are interested, based in the UK, email me and I will put you in touch with them )

My recovery has stalled at just below half of my three-year average. Sigh.

It's a good thing we have the paid-placment advertiser!

( I think you'd all agree, if a Publisher places an ad, he should be paid for the ad! Personally, I would suggest Google offer a small amount guaranteed Per Impression, and a larger amount Per Click)

Not if it's a cost-per-click ad.

By "publisher places an ad" - I mean in a print or TV publication.

If you place someone's ad (print or TV) you are paid, regardless of how many calls or visits the advertiser gets.

In that vein, if I place ads on my web pages, taking my space, then I should be paid. (Perhaps not much)

So, I am suggesting that unclicked ads Do have some value.

You should use banner networks like doubleclick or burst if you want to be paid by impression. Adsense is (mostly) pay per click, and as you can see, there isn't much information being advertised on the ad outside of what is enough to entice a click from an interested party.
