I have been experiencing this problem since 2 weeks till now. When I setup my referrals 2.0 ads, I uncheck the "pick best performing ads", yet, non of my chosen ads are displayed. I just get irrelevant ads, and /or relevant but non chosen ads!

I tried to check, or uncheck the box, yet same problem! This box has no effect!

Since I started using referrals 2.0, it was perfect. My income increased over 300%. Until 2 weeks ago, when this problem started to happen, my income went down to near 30% when it was before using referrals 2.0. I have dedicated all tthe best places for referrals, and limited the use of cpc ads.

Anyone has a fix for this problem? I have emailed google, they claimed that the ads are displaying well. I sent them a snapshot of my acount with adsense previewed, and a snapshop of my website. They claimed that I am checking the box. I unchecked the box, and regenerated them again, and same thing. Then I emailed them asking them to log in my account and try for themsleves. Now, I have received an email, saying that they will escalate my problem to a specialist.

Waiting for their reply.

Anyone experiencing this?

jatar_k, unfortunately, I read both topics before posting here, and as i see, it is mentioned in both topics that this problem has not been solved, and other people are experiencing this problem, and they stop servicing CPA ads because of this problem!

it would seem that you already have your answer then, unless someone has held back some fix for this.

Answer received from G specialist: The ads that you selected are not available for your country.

What if I my visitors are not from my country?

However, after much thinking, and after calling some friends in USA, I discovered what is happeing, and what is G is not openly claryfing.

Some advertisers started to mis-use, referrlas programs to get free hits. Much free hits. Almost all their vistors cost them nothing. A USA based advertiser would run a referral program with the follwing:

1. 38 cents for evey conversion.
2. Only USA clients would be accepted as legal conversions.
3. Landing page is not the sign up page.

Now publishers would run his ads all over the network. The publisher is getting thousands of hits from all countries. he only pays for USA conversions, which are low, and even lower because the landing page is not the sign up page.

Thus he his getting thousands of hits for very very low price.

G recognized this mistake, and now even if you select the ad, it will only be shown to vistor IP wise. Thus if the ad is intended for USA, the only USA IP addresses would see it.

Thanks Yanny for sharing your experiences.

I’m also giving a try to REF 2.0 and in my particular case I found:

1.When there are not ads, the background becomes white and it does not look fine in my pages.

2.I placed two REF 2.0 units in one page, and many times the same ad is in both spaces.

3.After 48 hours the REF 2.0’s ctr seems half the old one.

My question is, how much time it will take to a paid action to be reflected on G stats ?

Regards

wgonz, yes, i had the same thing, two similar ads even in the same ad block, not in 2 block even!

I noticed that I got paid instantly when a conversion happens.
