Adsense Backtracking on Stats?

Hello All,

Just noticed something odd with my Adsense reports which I've never seen before though I chart reports though the day religiously in excel (no still no got past doing this yet lol) :-) ).

Earlier this evening I had X impressions and Y clicks. I have then had a few updates on my Firefox Adsense bar that has been logging page impressions but no clicks for 2 odd hours. Now suddenly I get a bunch of clicks register though my reported page impressions is actually reported as being 200 less than before (though there was quite a jump in earnings).

There does not appear to be anything irregular going on (we've not talking click enmass so to speak) so I 'assume' that Adsense is back traking a little and now recounting clicks and earnings from the point at which they appeared to stop.(Hope this makes sense).

I have never seen this before and I am not concerned but just interested as to whether anyone else is seeing this.

Hmmmm.... I had the window open from earlier and after reading your post, I refreshed the page. Sure enough, the page impression count went backwards, although the earnings went up. Oh well, at least the important number is still headed in the right direction.
