AdSense System Maintenance, Sat. 11 Aug 10am-12pm PT

As you may have seen on the AdSense blog ([adsense.blogspot.com ]):

Tomorrow, our engineers will be performing routine system maintenance from 10am to 12pm PDT. Although you won't be able to log in to your account for 2 hours, we'll continue to serve ads to your pages and track your earnings as usual.

For our international readers, we've converted the maintenance start time for a few cities around the world:

Toronto -- 1pm Saturday
London -- 6pm Saturday
Cairo -- 8pm Saturday
Mumbai -- 10:30pm Saturday
Melbourne -- 3am Sunday

Nice touch. Thanks.

Always takes me a long time to work out what PST's, EST's etc mean in comparison to Thailand. Why GMT was not good enough for the world is beyond me.

Next time could even add one of the following: Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai or Singapore and perhaps even Tokyo. Would save a couple more of my limited number of brain cells having to wake up.

Just curious. Why would anybody assume there will be any change as an effect of this announcement? System Maintenance could just mean server reboots, database backup, operating system security updates, etc...

Or for that matter, they could just be doing things to AdWords - when one goes down the other does anyway, so you never know which one (or both) are being worked on.
