Which ad format earns more for you?

Mine, the leaderboard 728x90 earns more. I placed it above the fold in all my pages.

That's a popular format. Another one is the tower placed on the right side.

But on my site, I use the traditional 468x60 image banner at the top and a text block on the left side. The image converts poorly but the text block works well enough. Both are content ads. I think other formats and sizes probably convert better, but that's what fits nicely into my website format.

For me, the 300x250 is the best performing. I embed it in a right floating div in my articles.

In my opinion:

Best CTR = 336x280 or 300x250
Best eCPM = 728x90 or 160x600
Worst CTR/eCPM = All the rest!

Wide skyscraper on the right works well for me. Have tried it on the left and also the leaderboard but no luck at all with those.

Since having all with new configuration,
only the domains where I have channels for each ad position

300x250 left just above the fold in navigation $11,144
120x90 AdLink left in the navigation $9,855
338x280 Below the content $8,645

For all making EPC theories

The highest EPC has the 300x250
AdLink 7,5% less EPC
338x280 coming last in the html source 18,7% less EPC

Threads like this illustrate the need to try the whole range of adblocks available, in as many on page locations as possible, because none seem to work equally well for everyone.

Try em all, see what works best for you.

For me, the 300x250 and the AdLinks 160x90 work really well. The AdLinks are above the fold. The 300x250 is mostly above the fold at 1024x768 or more, and still partially above the fold at 800x600.
