I got miso soup, top-notch dark chocolate, and left alone to play with my Web pages so far today: what more could a novice dad like me hope for? Oh, and a nice Sunday dinner is about to be served!

I'd not expect it will influence things in the UK, where the day, unlike Mothering Sunday, is rarely observed (apart from by retailers of course!). For sites with more global traffic, whilst there may be a dip, are fathers and their families really not going to be using computers today?

If he is a really good dad he will probably be at the beach with the family rather than sicking his nose in dusty old web pages. :)

My UK sites are flat on their backs, may as well switch the whole damned lot off, they're not even making me enough to buy a couple of beers!

Oh memories of those $triple digit weekend days...and don't anyone dare have the audacity to tell me my widget sector's doing nothing, I know how much advertisers are spending...tetchy, you bet I am!

Ah-ha, Ann, that must explain it. Those Dads who aren't at the beach with their families this weekend must be online making plans to GO to the beach.

I thought today would be a slooowww day. My main rev is from hospitality and I have had a fine day so far - with many bookings in our main beach resort market.

Thanks for the heads-up...

My Dad jetted off to Africa on Wednesday to quote for a contract... shows how much he cares about fathers day!

but if you want posts complaining about low income days then I have had one today (but had a better than normal Saturday so in the grand scheme of things all is good :) )

Our Father's Day isn't until September, here in Oz, so nothing out of the ordinary happening here. :)
