I have a site that sells 8 times as much between halloween and Easter than between Easter and Halloween.
It's rankings don't change - just the market. Has been happening for 8 years so I'm not bothered anymore!

My first site was targeted at students, and over several years always saw a drop to about 70% of previous levels at the start of the summer, followed by a jump to about 150% of previous levels in September.
I believe that in general internet use declines with better weather, though, so other things being equal a decline is to be expected.
Does anybody in Europe (especially Sweden) see a decrease in earnings each summer?
Those declines could be related to that Midsommar partying you Swedes do! :)
Seriously, I think sites that do not have material or content related to summer activities take a hit during the summer months. When I say "summer activities", I do not necessarily mean outdoor activities. For example, I would expect video/gaming/travel websites to do well during the summer months; but sites selling ski wear may not do so well.
