Does anybody in Europe (especially Sweden) see a decrease in earnings each summer? If so, by how much? When does the decrease begin and when does it end?

I imagine it is very dependant on your industry and if it is seasonal or not.

Someone selling flip flops (thongs) is going to do better in the summer, but not so well in the winter.

Everything is seasonal - but different for differnt people.

I have a site that sells 8 times as much between halloween and Easter than between Easter and Halloween.

It's rankings don't change - just the market. Has been happening for 8 years so I'm not bothered anymore!

Receptional, when your earnings go down, do you do anything about it, or do you just let it ride?

Obviously the specifics will vary from sector to sector.

My first site was targeted at students, and over several years always saw a drop to about 70% of previous levels at the start of the summer, followed by a jump to about 150% of previous levels in September.

I believe that in general internet use declines with better weather, though, so other things being equal a decline is to be expected.

Those declines could be related to that Midsommar partying you Swedes do! :)

Seriously, I think sites that do not have material or content related to summer activities take a hit during the summer months. When I say "summer activities", I do not necessarily mean outdoor activities. For example, I would expect video/gaming/travel websites to do well during the summer months; but sites selling ski wear may not do so well.
