Was curious how many publishers were accepted for referral beta and what category your site is? Please reply if you were accepted.

I was accepted. You're not missing much. There aren't many advertisers (not any related to my site) and the layout isn't very user-friendly. Unless they improve greatly I plan on sticking with Commission Junction for CPA ads.

BTW, go into where you set up the ad code and click on referrals. I didn't receive notification that I was accepted, just noticed it there one day. It's possible you might be in and not even know it.

I was excited about the Referral program, got accepted then was disappointed.

Remain disappointed.

We have been, but sometimes we see our own ads from our eccommerce sites on our non eccomerce sites. We filtered ourselves via the competitive filter, but the filter does not seem to be working.

Same here not so much to talk about. It is better we get some more advertisers.

Same here. Not enough products for my niche and those that might do never come in an ad size that would work for my site. It was all pretty frustrating. I took them off my site for now but keep checking back to see if there are any improvements.

They did send a survey about the program, so I do think they are working on it.

I am in love with the Adsense Referrals program. Last month, my first with the program, more than 75% of my Adsense earnings came from referrals. In total, I made nearly three times more in April than I had in March, my previous highest month.

I am tracking the same for May, with regards to the proportion of referrals earnings to contextual earnings.

My point is, I guess, that there are products in the referrals program that pay out well and fit my sites. Your mileage may vary, but I am very happy with the results so far.

What is it called once you get there?

We do not have enough publishers to advertise our products. No one really writes about our niche although it will be one of the largest growing industy between now and 2020.

I'm still not in but can't wait to get in. I heard from a friend that he checks it everyday for new offers such as he saw one that is paying for people to get a free coupon for a drink at 7-eleven which could make him lots of money since printing a coupon is free.

The new referrals will keep getting better as we get new advertisers and publishers involved, so please try it out if you're invited to do so, and please give us any feedback you have, both positive and negative.

Even if your first impression wasn't the best, we encourage you to log in often to check for changes, and email your suggestions to adsense-referralsbeta@google.com .

Asa,

We have multiple sites that advertise pay per action, but we are also a publisher as well. We have our own ads on our own sites even though we put ourselves in the competive filter. We only have one adsense account and we only use one adwords account.

We have one site where we just advertise google check out referal on the top since we accept google check out, but we see ppa ads come up in that block from time to time. That particular site displays its own ppa advertisement when that happens.

I just went through the Food & Drink section and didn't see anything like that. I saw a Buy One Get One Free sports drink offer, but nothing about 7-eleven.
