Slow Weekend

Is anyone else having a slow weekend (adsense-wise)? I had the lowest cpm in 2 years yesterday.

Yesterday was the lowest visitors and lowest income of the year. Today is about as bad.

Is there a holiday this weekend that I'm not aware of?

Was slow in the UK yesterday, maybe because of the FA Cup Final - a big soccer game for those of you who've never heard of it.

Very slow weekend for Adsense and site traffic. CPM is down the toilet. But at least soon are MFA-type sites too X-D

It's a long weekend (Victoria holiday) & starting a camping season in Canada. If this is what you want to know.

Yesterday (Saturday) was my highest-eCPM day of the month. It was also the highest in recent memory. EPC has been way up this month, too. I don't pretend to know why; I'm guessing that seasonal demand in my sector is the main reason.

On the downside, EPC and eCPM have been lower for May 1-19, 2007 than during the same period in 2006, although the gap has been narrowing in the last week or so.

I think we are mostly talking traffic here. Was your traffic very low yesterday?

While sneaking in CPM - mine is spot on yesterday and today is a little than average.

Normally on weekends my visitors are done 50% compared to weekdays, but yesterday it was done 70%. today down about 65%

I see 2 of the lowest consecutive days for some time, causing some low earning 18th, 19th may, 20th looks like being as bad. Interestingly these days were preceeded by 2 unexpectedly high traffic days. Interesting stuff? I'm not sure.

Actually, the OP was talking about CPM, but in terms of traffic, yesterday was my best Saturday in quite a while. Maybe I got the fed-up-with-football crowd who were ignoring the FA Cup Final. I usually do pretty well during the Super Bowl, too. :-)

I've done very well this weekend. No records broken but everything has been solid in areas where you'd like them to be.

Same pattern here, great at the end of the work week and totally dead in the week-end, with below average traffic and dismal eCPM.

I had a great weekend - but I did messa round with placement and added additonal ads on pages just running one or two ads. it really does pay to tinker!
