What to expect after Reduced Impressions

Ajaxified Website and Reduced Impressions

Hey everyone,

I had a general question about whether reduced impressions always mean more money in the long run or not...

I had a website that provides a service and about 70% of the visitors click a button on sub pages to use the service which does a total page refresh and of course used to cause 2 times adsense impressions.

Now that i ajax enabled my website, I got rid of the unnecessary page refreshes and impressions have been reduced by almost 100% . Given that the number of adsense clicks stayed about the same, is it a proven fact that earnings should increase? What else would be effected?

I don't think that this will lead to more money, probably just a better cpm. Because of less impressions and same amount of clicks, but overall you'll get out the same amount of money.

I've had my impressions reduced by 100% twice so far. And each time I received $0 in revenue - although my bandwidth charges were significantly lower.

Thanks for the ideas...

I thought the infamous "Smart Pricing" might have something to do with it....

Because in common sense, if ads are clicked more frequently, wouldn't that mean that the ads are performing really well? I thought it might have a place in their pay per click calculation algorithm somehow... But i guess not...

I did what you did and experienced a good earnings increase, so I only see benefit.
