-When did Adsense start?
-How long have you been in the program?
On March, I completed my 2nd year (mar 05 - mar 07)
My monthly average has been around $210
My max has been $322
My Min has been $161
I know it is change compared to some of you, but it is ok for me.
The thing with my website, I have only put adsense in about 50% of the pages.
I once put it on the forums, and the impression shot up through the roof, but my CPM went down to less than 0.50
-When did Adsense start?
June, 2003. (Though a few "premium publishers" were running Google ads before that.)

Since June, 2003.
I can imagine you have enough knowledge of the Adsense program and system, Google should have no problem hiring you (while still letting you keep your ads) :)
It must be exciting to have been with the program since the start, so you never missed any cent!
I thought it started earlier. So I didn't miss much, less than 2 years. I actually applied in late 2004, but they rejected me then.
My site has very good traffic, close to 250,000 page views a month, but I only have adsense in less than 50% of all pages.
I'm still making a living but it is a bit tenuous with the seasonal ups and downs and a drop in EPC and eCPM. I know-- I shouldn't have all my eggs in one basket, but I haven't found anything that pays as well as Adsense.
We should try to remember to hold a Adsense 5th anniversary celebration next June.

oh boy, i can tell. i was one of the first in my sector and i'm so happy that i reacted pretty early. i remember i noticed it on a dating platform for the first time and i thought it looks pretty boring compared to a graphical banner but give it a try.
especially in 2005 when my websites went full-blown. my lame competitors followed successively but that was the time when i sacked the most. a bunch of monopolistic and unsmartpriced money :) first mover advantage!
by the way: still no alternatives over here.. unbelievable.
I'm not going to give specific numbers like you did but I will say that it's been a good ride. This month is on track to be a record month. Earnings are up 76% from this time last year as a result of traffic going up 78%. I attribute none of that to good luck. Hang in there, forums are notorious for having low CPM!

Over all, since the starting this with Google over 2 years ago, my averages have been:
-CPC = close to 12 cents
-CTR = 1.38%
I am quiet suprised with how high my CPC has been. But is it high because my CTR is low? if my CTR was over 5%, would my CPC go down?
Lately, last few months, my CPC has been averaging at around 17 cents, but I average no more than 50 clicks per day, and that keeps my earnings at an average of 5-7 dollars per day.
I had two months of about $5000; my worst month ever was December of last year at $1400.
For a long time the average was about $3500, but for several months it's only been about $2000 (the December fiasco was in part due to temporarily disappearing from Google).
I have identified my low revenues as being due to a much lower pay per click than I used to get; it's persisted for so long now that I'm actively considering quitting AdSense and trying other ad networks.

Sounds like you've identified a symptom, not the cause.
As for trying other networks, you don't have to quit AdSense to do that. Indeed, it would make more sense to test different networks' ads by doing "split run" testing (if that's possible) or by switching out code. And, of course, there's nothing to keep you from non-contextual ads from other sources on the same pages as contextual AdSense ads. As long as you abide by the TOS, you needn't restrict yourself to AdSense.
However, I don't like to have many ads on my pages - I don't have more than two adsense units on any of my pages. My reason is that I'm pretty sure ad-heavy pages discourage my readers from linking me.

I seem to spend most of my time nowadays removing A/S ads. If a folder has, say, 25 files, I'll put a few ads on the index.html; then leave 23 or so with no ads at all; I'll slap a few ads on the last file as an "exit ramp."
I don't link to Adsense-stuffed sites. Most are ugly MFAs. Funny how most MFAs max out A/S. They can even have more ad content than original content!
