Long story short: I got the strangest request for a link exchange, and when I went to check out the site they were running both Adsense and Yahoo contextual ads on the same page. I reported them, along with a screenshot of Google's cached page. I got back the standard form email from Adsense to the effect "we do not respond to individual complaints, but we appreciate it and will forward to our Adsense complaint team" - Perhaps I'm being overly worried, but I want to make sure Adsense keeps these complaints to themselves and that the offending site won't "after they get booted" look in their logs, find my Isp and then start slamming my site with invalid clicks. I even told Google the same thing.

Thoughts - Thanks

Just thought I'd report that neither G or Y has done anything about the site despite the obovious abuse. I didn't plan on getting hammered by reporting a site by some of you, and I had no malice intended for the site I did report. If you'd like sticky me and I'll send you a screenshot of the site and you make your own conclusions.

I'm not buying into the "police mentality" - just trying to find out if what this site is doing is playing by the rules. I'd love to be able to run ads like they are. I'm sure my earnings would double if not more.

How do I report a policy violation?

We regularly review sites in our program for compliance with our program policies. If you notice a site displaying Google ads that you believe is violating our program policies, please let us know and we can investigate the issue further.

To bring a site to our attention, follow these steps:

Draft a new email. If possible, please use the email address currently associated with your AdSense account
Write 'AdSense Policy Violation' as the subject of your message
Please include all of the following in the body of your message:

The URL of the violating website
A description of the violation
The specific location of the violation, if applicable

Send this email to adsense-abuse@google.com
Your feedback will assist us in maintaining the quality of the AdSense program.
