Does selling my own PPC adspace violate AdSense TOS?

I want to sell some advertising space on my site on a PPC basis - some of the companies I want to sell adspace to are participating in the AdSense program and have ads displaying on my site - but since my site is region specific, there isn't a huge pool of advertisers to choose from.. so the companies I'd contact about putting up ads could appear to be ones that I selected from seeing their AdSense ads - however it's not the case - because I sold advertising space to these companies in the past - in other words I had relationship with these companies prevoius to even participating in the program.

Anyone have any input on this? I appreciate any repsonses and hope that this question and any answers it receives will help someone in the future as well.

It's always a good idea to check with Google if you have any doubts on issues such as these. Even their answers have been know to be wrong sometimes, but if you have a record of having asked, it will help your case should there aver be a problem later.

In your specific case, have your thought of adding the sites concerned to your competetive ad filter?

I've always seen the Google ads as being my very own 'instant bizdev group'. As Hobbs says - go for it. You'll like the monetary results much more than having Google as a middleman.
