Google referrals

Does it produce revenue?

I'm thinking about trying Google referrals. It seems like a questionable business model, though. Has anyone had luck with it?

It's a wooden foot, but enough to pull one up when eCPM, EPC and PottyPricing (TM) pull the rug from under you, placed and promoted right they perform, some sites have the kind of visitors for it, others don't, try and find out for yourself.

Hey did I just coin PottyPricing?

I don't and won't bother unless they put in an override (tier 2 style) affiliate program. Paying me $100 or whatever it is one time doesn't excite me. However the chance to earn off of the earnings for life of my referral (even a very small percentage), would get me into it - maybe. At the very least it would inspire me to give it some thought.

I just think unless your visitors are mostly marketeers and web business people (not my visitors), it doesn't seem very worthwhile. I'll focus on the public.

Considering you can make up to $255 per referral, yes, it is worth it. I have had a few convert, and it is a nice surprise.

Jafo, I am assuming this is for the Google AdSense referrals? I just recently added the Google AdSense Referrals to my site and have had some clicks the past few days but no conversions noted. How long has it taken, in your experience, for Google to show that any of these clicks have converted?

How long did it take to get paid for them, from the time you showed a conversion?

Thanks for the info!

I've had one AdSense conversion when it was $100 for $100. They made it to $100 dollars in about 3 1/2 months. As it was a friend of mine, I checked with them when I noticed that it showed up in my account. I was credited within 24 hours from the point where they hit $100.

I took him out for pizza that night, and he took me out on the day his first EFT showed up.

I have the firefox referral on my pages. About 7,500 uniques a day and so far I've earnt around $4 in a month or so. Tiny in comparison to even one days earnings from normal Adsense. I wouldn't reccomend the Firefox option. But I will try the Adsense referrals for a month or so. I didn't realise that $100 was possible for just one referral.
