Google Cheque comes back

why they blocked my payment?

Hello guys,

I've just checked my a/c using Internet and Google AS chq worth 2.5k is come back with this term ="CDR # XYZNO - PAYEES ENDORSEMENT RE".

I'm really worried about this.. what does this mean? Why they have blocked my payment? I'm AS user since early 2004.

It means simple that You have forgotten to put Your signature on the backside of the check.

So do not panic ;-)

Do you guys really Sign inside that box that says "Payee ENDORSEMENT"
I never sign inside that box but will just sign outside with my account number and my banks seems to be happy.

Most banks will even accept "For Deposit Only"... in the U.S. at least.

It seems clear it's a problem at the payee end, anyways. Maybe something to do with the name on the deposit account not being the same as the payee on the check.

Yes I did sign cheque and sheet. It is midnight now. I will go to bank around 11AM today and see why it comes back. Netbanking gives very little info :(

Back when I still got AdSense cheques in dollars from a US bank, I forgot to sign the back a lot; you don't have to here.
