I think the algo knows when you add another ad format and changes the mix of ads it delivers.
But I am only guessing from previous trials.You are also creating more click choices for your visitors which may not equate well in your metrics.
think so too, but just wanted to check if anyone else was experiencing stuck stats and low eCPM. If not, then it might be because I introduced Kontera into the pages. I probably have to sit tight and let things settle.
I took out a banner unit and replaced it with Kontera, which at first glance seems to compensate for Adsense's poor topic-targetting for certain pages.
Is there something somewhere about Feb 8 that affects anyone else?
Conspiracy theory... could smartpricing have a timetable that kicks in for each site on a pre-set date?

fairly typical stats for me for the 8th - a bit down but nothing exceptional for a Thursday recently (Thursdays seem to be the new Fridays :( )
I'm certainly of the view that any change affecting lots of pages can knock the performance for a few days. Hope it picks up for you soon.

yeah... I added Kontera on a couple of test pages and they seem to complement Adsense especially when it just gets the topic targetting wrong. Now, Adsense serves the site topic ads and Kontera serves topic ads based on keywords you use. Seems sweet to me so I'm willing to put up with a few bumps on the road.
Update : got a click dump on the 9th. Still doesn't make up for a bad 8th, but heck I'll take anything.
