Web site or Blog?

Which vehicle will get me the best adsense results?

I am about to launch a new site for a non-techie mature audience.

I want to capitalise on Adsense in this new effort. From an "Adsense clicks" perspective, would I be better off with a Blog or a Web site? ...and why?

Both are websites. Your question is like asking "Which is the best way to get to the mall, with a car, or a Ford?"

I think he's asking "Which is better a blog or a bulletin board".

I would go with the bulletin board. Vbulletin is the best imo.

Or maybe what he means is a blog or a standard site (non blog format).

Thanks Fi5hbone, you got it.
I think Jafo knew too but likes to be precise :-)

To clarify ...I mean:

1) a blog or
2) a standard site (non blog format)

Now can we move forward? ;-)

It's immaterial. It is what you do with it that counts.

Jafo knew what you meant. His answer was on the mark.

Or maybe what he means is a blog or a standard site (non blog format).

In which case, the question is "which of these two display formats for the same damn content performs better?" Therefore, you can code the site once in XML, XSLT it into two different formats (A: "Hey, look, I'm a blog" and B: "Hey, look, I'm not a blog"), and have your server A/B test the difference.
