I had my main site set-up like this for a long time. I got so sick of the popunders I hated to visit it myself.

I wacked the pop-unders, took about a 3K dollar hit per month by pulling them. However, the increase in click through offset it. I added more text affiliate ads, and when they got going good, today the bottom line is MORE then before I popped the pop-unders.

More money now, less annoying site... Total no-brainer for me, it was a good more to trash the pop-unders.

Put pop-unders, pop-ups, lollipops, soda pop, whatever you want.

Your visitors that are running pop-up blockers won't see them and the rest will just go running as fast as they can away from your site.

Enjoy.

Personally I hate pop-unders or pop-ups and exit asap - making a mental note of site and never visit again. Do you like them? If not, why subject your site visitors to them?
