Well i signed up for adsense 4 days ago and put them on my site..

Day 1: $2.43
Day 2: $5.24
Day 3: $4.32
Day 4: $3.66 (as of 2:18pm)

Im very new to this and this is my first site which i put up as
a tester to see what would happen. I dont know how these results
are or what to expect. Any advice or help would be great, just looking for some feed back on my site and how i can improve it.

thanks

Comment 1: Your results will vary according to your traffic, your niche, your content, the relevence of the ads, your ad placement, the amount advertisers are paying for those specific ads, etc. There are way too many variables to know what is "good" or "average" for any particular person.

Comment 2: You should really read the Charter that specifically prohibits posting your URLs.

You cannot tell world about daily Adsense income. Read TOS for more info. Please read WW TOS as well.

It depends what the money means to you. If $3.66 per day is helpful to you, then it's great. If you think it aint, then it's not so great.

But after 10 days with that average you could have... $36.60 and after 100 days (3 months + 1 week) you could have... $366. It all, as they say, adds up. Many business models work on the principle of making a little bit of money from a lot of sales, rather than the other way around.

Good luck ;o)

I closed at $4.05 yesterday, so my lowest day was the first day at $2.43. The second day was my highest and its been around just over $4 for the other 2 days.

If i can keep it at $4 i will be happy

chewie, the weekend is going to have an impact on almost all sites! Friday traffic is usually slightly down for me, for example, then Saturday a little more so. Some weekend days a higher CTR makes up for fewer visitors, but not always.

Sit tight! Look at the long-term trends, not every day's earnings, which will go up and down a lot.

hd is right on, as usual.

over a year ago adsense support told me that if you had to compare things, compare days of the week... so run it for a month and see what happens.

i will say that this january epc is whacked out, tho... the patterns for days of the week are not holding up, even with consistent traffic numbers.

chewie100, be sure and use channels to keep track of what page designs and what topics are giving you the best earnings.

Google adsense uses its own spider to crawl pages which serve adsense adverts, and ascertain what the page is about so as to supply relevant adverts. This spidering takes time. In the interim adsense serves generic adverts which may or may not prove popular.

You really need to wait at least four weeks for adsense to spider your pages and start serving relevant adverts before you can start to see an income pattern, and even then it is highly variable with the whims of advertisers and consumers alike.

I have found a far higher proportion of irrelevant ads since Christmas, and clicks down accordingly. I suspect that this is down to advertisers budgets rather than any problem with Adsense.

My traffic is always down on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday can be as much as 20-25% down. Mondays are the third worst day with Fridays not much better than Mondays. Tues, Wed, and Thur are consistent performers.

If so much of the public wasn't goofing off at work, I wouldn't make as much money! :/ When I used to track the visitors, back in the day, I'd get people from hospitals and law offices.

When I put AdSense on one of my sites, I received my first check for $100 5 months later...starting out at $3 or $4 per day after a couple of days seems pretty good to me.

Almost 4 years ago I started out with Adsense making about $4-5/day. Now I'm clearing considerably more than that and quit my day job... Keep up the good work... keep improving your site... good things will come to those who work hard...

My site earned 3 bux a day for a lonng time. recently it's up to 10+ bux a day with same visitor counts. with me changing nothing. I long ago gave up trying to tweak and tune AS for such peanuts.

Traffic is what really matters. We started really small 3 years ago but by learning more about AdSense and of course, traffic growth during this time has put us in the 6-figure a year range.
