Is this new or something?
I thought when you hover over an Adsense ad, your browser will display the destination url.
I don't see this working anymore.
Has there been a change in policy?
I tried in IE7 and Firefox, and both don't show the destination url while hovering over an adsense advertisers link.

It's new feature set by default in IE7. Some of this was discussed here:

Are you sure, can you confirm, this is a "feature" turned off by default in IE7?

Because, that implies the feature can be turned back on, and I was under the impression, that IE7 simply does not show url info in the info bar of the browser. Period. Cannot be "turned on" under any circumstance.

I'm not aware of the method for reactivating the feature in IE7, but it may well be possible within the advanced Javascript settings. In Firefox, the ability to use Javascript to modify the status bar text is disabled by default, but it is possible for an end-user to activate the feature deep in the preferences menu option.

The feature should be considered as dead now, as no modern browser allows the technique for security considerations (ie. masking the status bar text by replacing the true URL with a fake one). Javascript-written links like AdSense won't show status bar text anymore for an increasing number of users.
