More then 14000 page impressions a day with adsense

I am running a forum based on vbulletin script.

I have tried altering various ad positions but cannot make more then 80$ a day, exactly one year back with same no. of impressions I was able to make 150$ - 250$ a day easily.

People were not so aware of them then. Now they are starting to see them a ads. Plus adspace was limited. Now its everywhere so bids can be lower.

And eCPM of almost $6 is actually incredibly good for a forum. Most forum owners seem to be wondering how they can bring their eCPM above $1.

And all this time I was thinking my $5 is bad eCPM. Best way is to put ad on left side and middle of post. But it all depends upon your community.

Impressions shouldn't go up by just using channels, if you use them properly. Otherwise, you would be making your stats meaningless!

Don't bitch... seriously 80$, for 14,000 imp? ... dude your on good money, I turn over nearly 40-60 x that number impressions and get less than that.

I'd love a ecpm of over 1$ I'd be content.

14,000 impressions is what i get in about 30 minutes and i make an average of $ 175 a day for a total of 700,000 impressions so you should be well pleased that such a small site has such a good return.

The site I am talking about having 14000 impressions a day is a content site, I have another site (photo gallery) which has more then 80000 impressions a day but not more then 7$ here!

i'm making about 5$ per 1000 G impresions (not visits) and i think thats good, 100000 = 500$ :D i can only dream about so many impresions hehe

This is one of those it depends types of questions, but here's an answer anyway - an eCPM of $6 for a content site seems low to me.

It depends what type of content you have and where the ads are. If you have a very broad subject matter, you probably won't get people to click on your ads and get a high CPM.

this is true because if i had your impression rate and my high epcm, i would be making 10k a month accross 2 sites. oh well, sandbox it is :(

i'm on 10,000 page impressions = $100 ratio. Some of my sites are 3 times that, some much less, but are high traffic so worth doing.

all comes down to placement of ads, I'm getting ctr of 13% with good placement and blending.

forum pages, i don;t use adsense, i use Kontera, works far better.

I'm in disbelief of what I read here. I have a site that barely scraps up 7-10$ a days with nearly 10000 impressions.

yeah, again it depends on ad placement, topic, ect, ect. i only average about 45 impressions and make a lil over 1 dollar a day. go figure...

probably the niche that justifies the value, keywords at different minimum/maximums... I picked a very poor one and make hardly much money a day.. if maybe i picked a better niche I could be millionaire, who knows.
