10K per month

Will finally get it!

I've been sitting at the edge of my chair all week, watching stats. This close to the end of the month and this close to 10K, I'm positive I'll reach it tomorrow. I only need a couple hundred more and should easily get it within the next day and a quarter. Wow, I've come a long way!

This was my ultimate goal as far as making money from Adsense. Now what? I think I'll enjoy the rest of the holidays before I get back to work in January.

This month November has been great but I am nowhere near US#1,000. US$10,000? How many sites are you running and what kind of site? Did you create all the content or is it created by users?

Congrats! I'm almost there in about 7k range right now, but i was wondering if your account has smart pricing? I was almost hitting 10k a month then got hit with smart pricing and that dropped me to like $4k-$5k a month but after 5 strong hard working months its going up again. I could only dream about how much i could be making if i wasnt hit with smart pricing.

Enjoy the ride because once you get hit it sucks, it seems like you have to work harder to earn the money back.

Nine(9) that I concentrate on. Numerous others.

What kind of site?

How to replace a catalytic converter if my sites were related to automobiles. That's just an example, the sites are how-to for the most part, I'd rather not divulge the exact subject matter. Besides, it varies so much that the info wouldn't help much anyway.

Congrats. My goal is to get into the UPS club as well. I'm a bit over 1/2 way there now and working hard to continue setting records. I set an AdSense record last month and beat it this month. So I'm looking to continue that trend.

LOL, Ron. I got the laptop accessories last year, the deluxe version and a mood radio the year before that, but this year's gift has not arrived yet. I'm sure G hasn't forgotten about me this year. Maybe, realizing what a patient person I am, they have decided to send mine a little closer to Xmas.

GP, my ecpm is higher now than before G introduced smart pricing so I am assuming that it favorably affected my sites.

Less than $20 away the last I checked(about 3 seconds ago). I'll wait as least 30 seconds before checking again.

IWMI, I don't keep up with Alexa rating but checked one site and it said 90,000 something.

If yours is a how-to site, I'd have a tendency to believe you would fall on the positive end of smartpricing. For instance, if the "to-do" article is going to require a certain set of tools ... like soldering irons and such ... and the people reading your page enough to see the ads and want to click them -- they are probably very likely to undertake the project, and thus may need to purchase the tools. Thus, your conversion rate is probably a bit higher than average, assuming AdSense is giving you good context-based targeting. Thus, smartpricing helps you ... because you drive quality traffic to advertisers, that convert often.

Congrats on the $10k milestone! I'm pretty darn close myself this month ... only about $9,800 left to go. We've got a few hours left in the day, though, so I'm hoping I can make it :-)

Well, the 3 year wait is over for me. I am now a member of the illusive UPS club!

GP, this is my third year making a living at this. Income has steadily increased, with some seasonal variations, since the beginning. The worst thing that happened over that time was nearly dropping out of the serps for my top keyword for about 2 weeks. Then it just re-appeared one day and everything was fine after that. That was a terrible month for me earning-wise, but nothing to do with smart pricing, my traffic just went way down.

toomer, I have other types of sites besides how-to but it wasn't until I started that series of sites that I really started earning well. I also believe it does draw good quality traffic for advertisers. If G gets the ads right, visitors are pre-qualified with credit card in hand. They get it right enough to keep me happy with my earnings.

I've never even been in the serps when i was earning potentialy 10,000-20,000$ month... and lately im in the serps for 5000-8000 key words a month right now.

My traffic 80-90% time is direct. and about 1,500-2000 vistors day from google search now.
