Adsense referrals

Euhm just want some info... (already searched the board, but didn't find a proper answer)

With the ADSENSE referral program:

As it is stated in G's guidelines:

AdSense: a conversion for AdSense is counted when a user you've referred to AdSense has signed up and earned their first $100 within 180 days.

What exactly would I earn from my referrals? Is it a one time fix or a small percentage on the all-times earnings of my referrals?

Has anybody already earned something with the ref and is your account associated with the refs (like, if your refs are behaving badly etc.)

You earn once 100% when the referred one earns his first 100$ during the first 180 days.

ASchmitt, if you're thinking to create your new account (as you mentioned in your other thread) through a referral from your old account I strongly suggest you don't do that as you most likely will get banned in a flash on both accounts.

If not, the referral program means that when someone registers a new account referred by you, and he makes $100 within 180 days, you will get $100 as well. Please note that this happens only once, not monthly.

I was lucky enough to get total 10 (most of them were my friends) sign up but only one of them was able to cross $100 mark within 4 months. Rest simply can't make it $100 in 180 days. Finally I removed ALL Google CPA except Firefox and Photo software.

plasma and iwannano1 thanks. I was just wondering. I turned a few people on to AdSense when it came out. One told me what he was making. It was about three times my AdSense income. I sure wish we had referrals back then!

Yeah, I've gotten one. It was a mighty fine morning when my total for the day suddenly jumped from $4.31 to $104.31. It didn't even register in my brain at first.

It took about 5 months and I had forgotten about it.

They will need to come up with a better incentive for me to market adsense referrals. I don't bother.

Now, a tiny % for life off of referrals would be more like it. I'd crank it up then. Hell, even 2%.

yeah i got 100$ for referral.google credit me with 100 dollars only after the other person became valid for the payment.that means wen other person got the pin from google i was credited with 100 $.
