...but what is PIP?
"Payment in Progress," which is the message that appears briefly in your payment history before the actual payment is made. Typically it appears between the 21st and 27th of the month.
There is no doubt that sometimes they do it almost immediately but other times they have waited up to 5 days after the PIP notice before they actually bother to release the funds.
They also don't do it all at the same time, whilst it is obviously true that international EFTs take a little longer than domestic (USA) EFTs, the delay is not so great as to be 3-5 days longer than USA payments as has been seen in this thread and others.

Care to proof that?
E.g. I live in Europe, I get paid from a in-country Google account, as soon as Google sends the order to their bank, that bank will get me the funds (local regulations) the next day.
Banks out here aren't allowed to drag their feet between getting the money out of an account and into another any longer.
Now I'd agree with the statement if Google would be sending money from a US origin, but they just don't do that.
