Is this compliant with TOS?

Would it be compliant with TOS to have a text box in the bottom the index page of my forum saying:

1.
Search words for this forum; x,y,.....,z.

and encapsulate it with:
<!-- google_ad_section_start -->
<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

Where the search words actually ARE relevant for the forum.

Erm - why?

Surely if they have found your site in the first place, you telling them how they got there is completely irrelevant?

relevant content = relevant ads

I have seen people putting keyword tags at the bottom of the pages. As long as the volume of these tags are not forming the majority of the content in a page, then I think there is no problem in adding keywords in a page.

I decided to make a box in the bottom of the page called "Links of the week". With relevant searchwords next to each link.

The biggest help I found to getting relevant ads was to alter my title and meta description tags. Made a big difference (and of course, helped in the SERPS too)

Someone on this forum warned that it's against the terms to use section targeting on small amounts of content. I've never seen this in the TOS, but you'd better check.

Have already changed the Meta tags. I will expand the targeted section and see what happens. Because the small section I have targeted so far hasent made any difference.

It will take several weeks for changes to be reflected.

Ok - so you are saying that even if the media bot already today has visited the updated page severel times it will still take several weeks for the changes to take effect?

Even if it works with the AdSense bot, it could result in a search penalty.
