What are the type of content that is high paying for Adsense?

What are the type of content that is high paying for Adsense? Is windows software high paying or low paying. could you tell some high paying niche's. i really dont know good paying niche's and i want to know which topics pay best. so please reply.

If ads are related to some item or some service that is expensive,

obviousally the ads will pay good.

My CPC varies from 0.01 to around 2$.

But when i reduced number of ad units to one now i earn more.

Seriously, picking keywords as the others have said is a waste of time, effort and money. My site is a niche site, and has a good lot of visitors and good serps placing because of the content. Without the content it would be nowhere. If you start a niche site, you do need to have the ability to make it an authority in that niche to do the best you can. That way people will link to you, you will get lots of truly organic traffic and the position in serps will go up. Adsense rewards will follow.

well if you think logically pick a topic where the adverts that are displayed will be advertising expensive products, does it not work kinda like that? ive heard consumer electronic would be good for a high CPC and that kinda fits in with what ive just said.

I've had good results with pages on widgets. The ads for those pages are always right on target, and they pay oh-so-well.
