Six cents a click isn't horrendous. Keep in mind that advertisers pay as little as a penny per click. Naturally others are making a bit more than $0.06 a click on average, but a few things to consider:

1. English probably isn't your first language and your site probably isn't in English. That may limit the number of advertisers.

2. Your site may not be conducive to high-paying ads. Look over your ads and the kind of audience to your site that would click on the ads. If your site is a community site or an entertainment site, you will expect the penny ads to creep in there.

3. You may have too many ad blocks on a page. More blocks = more clicks but also fewer revenue per click as the second and third blocks dig into lower paying ads.

4. Your site may not be a good converter for advertisers so you have been smart priced.

Some, all, or none of these things may be the reason. But don't be overly concerned. Just work on molding your content in a way that creates a more educated audience to advertise to.

The topic of your site may generate only low paying ads which maybe the reason for your low earnings.

If you are getting a lot of ebay ads maybe you should block them?

1 Look at Who is advertising for your topic - Use the AdSense Preview Tool for the target geographic area.

2 Check for "quality advertisers" - if there are none, you need to look for another subject area if wyou want to make money, or provide better quality content on your page to "attract" better Ads if they are out there.

3 If you see Advertisers who are competing or are not those you expect to work well (i.e. PAY) on your site, use the Competetive Ad filter.

Good Luck

If I have identified your site, it's a non-english fan site about a TV program.

For this site, 6 cents per click on is not bad.

If you have a reasonable traffic, find some other way to monetize it (for example, look in the direction of dish TV companies, they have rather good PPA campaigns that might suit your audience)

best luck!
