I just wanted to give you a few days' notice that we have regular AdSense system maintenance scheduled for Saturday, August 26, at 10:00am PDT. It should last about four hours.
As you know, even if you aren't able to access your account during this time, your Google ads will show normally and all clicks and impressions will be recorded as usual.

Just a thought: If bidding price replaces ctr as the main determining criteria when it comes to ad placement what's to stop a wave of high bidding ads with phone numbers on them to hit the adsense market? I saw an ad recently that had a phone number which in itself isn't unusual, however the advertiser's landing page contained nothing more than a mailto: link. As a buyer I would never respond to such an ad so based on that assumption I wonder how such ads will convert.

i swear everytime they do Saturday maintenance my stats are WAY off. I'm down about 40% right now from a normal Saturday.
yeah... hate the morning after adsense maintenance. my stats look more sour than my morning lime juice... but better than used kitty litter... which I also hate having to watch every single day!
My status is also way bolow normal.
Just wait until next weekend ;)
