Firefox 1.5.0.6 was released within the last few days. I've been reading elsewhere that Notifier is not working reliably with this latest version of the browser, so it's likely that that is the problem. Check for updates from Tools - Extensions - Find Updates, although as of a couple of hours ago it seems a Notifier update is not yet available.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Glad to know it's not just me.

This problem immediately followed my last Firefox update, so I think you're right, there's definitely a connection.

What is AdSense notifier, what it does and how do we access it?
Any input appreciated!

Adsense Notifier simply shows your adsense stats on the status bar and updates the stats automatically.

You can download it at the Firefox Add-ons site. Just Google "AdSense Notifier".

Mine stopped working yesterday. Checking the download page shows several comments from people today saying that it doesn't work with the latest version of Firefox. I'm sure an updated version will be released before long. In the meantime, I have removed it.

The best thing about AdSense Notifier is that it logs onto your Google account for you automatically. I wouldn't really need it if there was a way to stay logged on all the time.

Whenever I check my reports, I quit Firefox and reopen it to clear the cache, so I get the latest figures.

There's a note on the extensions page on mozilla.org from the guy who wrote it - he says he's on his honeymoon, and please be patient, he'll fix it as soon as he can.

Oh No! he got married? He'll never get the time to update the notifier now.... Poor guy... :P

It's working on my laptop, but not on my desktop.

The notifier wasn't working all day and suddenly it popped on.... Firefox has been open the whole time. Weird, but good to have my little numerical friend back for now.

When I upgraded to FireFox 1.5.0.6 it stated to work again.

Correction: with FF 1.5.0.6 it is not working again!
Come on, enough honeymoon already, and with the current divorce rate I'd economize and save for the next one.

Dogs don't want or care about honeymoons.

Dogs don't care where you are, as long as they're with you.

Dogs don't care about fluctuations in AdSense reports.

Dogs don't care what browser you use, as long as you don't stare at the plastic box for too long and take them for a walk.

If taking the dog for a walk isn't enough, I fixed it by creating a new Firefox profile.

It looks like the latest Firefox update corrupted the profile, resulting in login issues. As long as it's retrieving cached Adsense info for the logon credentials it simply doesn't work.

It's not enough to rename the Profiles directory and copy the old extensions, either. I had to reinstall my 7 add-ons as well, then re-enter my Notifier login and password settings.

Some help for the OCD afflicted among us!

Fortunately mine still works, but the workaround was a little too tedious. I haven't downloaded the update yet!

Maybe another update to fix this one is in the works.

I'm using the latest version of Firefox, 1.0.5.6, and the updated version of Notifier, 0.9, and everything is still working fine.
