Woke up this morning and tried to access my ads using Safari (on mac) and I immediately discovered that google ads were not being displayed on the content network (search network was ok) so I proceeded to check other Adsense publisher sites and noticed that the problem also occurred when I attempted to view these other publisher sites using Safari. All this time I could see the ads on both networks when I checked the sites using Firefox (using the same ip address) Along the way I refreshed the pages a few times without any positive results.
Seriously doubting the possibly that my browser settings had changed, as these hadn't been touched with the computer still powered up from the day before, I proceed to eliminate the possibility anyway. So I checked that javascript was enabled and have even trashed my preferences file with no results.
After all this, I decided to take a break and walk away. Upon my return I refreshed one of the pages I had unsuccessfully tried to view moments before and the ads had returned.
I haven't ever had a problem viewing Adwords using Safari before which is why I find the problem all the more puzzling.

The only glitch I've ever noticed was the occasional flash based cpm ad that will break out of its assigned area and scroll with the page if you start to scroll before the page was finished loading.
