July 2006 AdSense Revenue

Good Month Or Bad?

I am having a very bad month ... about 1/3 the normal income. Is this happening system wide or is it just my site?

I think I am about what I would expect regardless of time of year. What I really need now is more traffic around more sites then just relying on a couple of sites

Not bad. Better than May or June, though not as good as July of last year (when I was doing a much lousier job of promoting my affiliate partners than I am now).

Probably going to be worst month this year. Usually, PCP & EPC are pretty close, but this month they've been all over the board.

This is by far the best month ever. But google and other search engine traffic has dropped. But thanks to a few "coolwebsiteoftheyear" type websites my traffic has doubled.

Yes, mine also. I think that is why I am having such a bad month. Much less traffic.

Rankings improved, AdSense revenue significantly and regularly dropping since March.

Revenue has been pretty much constant and didn't suffer any major dips for the summer. Ranking has also been improving.

I have been through 2.8 July's and this is looking perfectly normal. In fact I am confident I can predict August and September too.

Maybe a bit below average for the year, but not bad. I'm hoping to move on to new heights in September. I should whisper this but my earnings have been very stable for over a year now.

So far, it's a very good month after a few down months. I'm phasing in a new design which all the "they only click on the ugly sites" people would tell me is insane, but it seems to have improved ad performance. Or perhaps it is the increased prevalence of "Vertical Images" in the ad blocks. Or maybe better ad matching due to cleaner html with the redesign. Or a combination. Who knows... but I really can't complain.

This month turns out to be the best ever.

Due to improved SE-rankings my traffic and revenue are 40% up compared to June (which was the best month before).

My July is also about a 1/3 of what I got for June even though traffic/ctr is steady. Shame.

best month for about a year and a half about 50 % up on average earnings, last month was almost there as well.
i don't depend on serps etc. for my sites as they are forum based and word of mouth is more effective for me.
about 2 % of my traffic is driven from serps

Lowest month this year however if anyone had said that I would have been earning this much a year ago I would have said they were crazy!

Historical AdSense data suggests this is my year's low point for earnings apart from Xmas and New Year.

The old data is very reassurring when wondering if one has "screwed up" or been hit by an "update":-)

I'm glad I don't have to account to shareholders!

This has been my best month ever. As of July 22nd, I had in what I usually do in a month. I think my web site attracts a lot of kids. Since school is out, perhaps they have nothing better to do.

June was somewhat terrible - earnings down 20% vs June 05.

July started off 100% increase over June but the past week has slowed to the point that I will end up about 20% better than June.

I was doing pretty well until yesterday, but almost 600 impressions and not one click across six sites - certainly seems odd.

This is the worst month in last 12 months. Earnings are almost 70% down.. Ecpm going down everyday.

eCPM way down, but earnings are up due to increased page views (I'm getting double what I used to get, 2400 views a day (my own stat, close to googles) I used to get 1000, so my site's doing alot better. Record month already and it's not even over yet :)

Worst month ever (two years) by far. I have never been below $2000 and there is no chance I will cross that.

Right now I'm in a "Holy Crap, my website is failing" stage. Even last year during this same month I was making twice as much. And it's not just my CPM, my hits have halved as well. I have no idea where they have all gone to :(

The real figures are enough $ to live off of, so you can imagine how much of a hit this is to me. Might have to go back to work.. lol.

Traffic is rising and rising but eCPM and CTR are falling and falling. I push the boulder to the top and it keeps rolling down.

Worst month of the year, traffic is below average yet decent (to be expected during vacation weeks), but it's CTR and eCPM that are tanking. Advisers must be taking marketing breaks in the summer or something.

My June was up 20% from May.
My July is projecting to be 20% up from June.

I'm not really getting new traffic, but I have been busy redesigning my pages recently (putting two large rectangles in the first fold).
