It is likely that in the past months more advertisers have been added to your topic area and so the bids have gone up. I highly doubt Google would be so stupid as to pay someone signed up as a business more money per click.

Of course the content is completely different. This one has more pages, is better designed and has got good astrology based content. Some of the ads on the new site are the same as the old ones but I can see there is a real difference in the amount per click that the ads on the new website have been gaining.
Incidentally, my earlier website had been disabled by Google because I had used some autosurf programs in a bid to increase traffic and page views. I later learnt that most of these autosurf programs just give hits from a proxy server and are not real traffic at all. While this was cheating in Google's books, I honestly just meant to get more traffic and sign ups in a way I thought or rather was made to believe was perfectly legit. Well, I lost close to $1200 and my account. But like someone said at my earlier post - we all live and learn.

Could Google be possibly offering higher payments to business account holders?
Not as far as I can tell.
But since you brought up this issue, could Adsense be paying publishers from different countries differently?
e.g. by employing the "Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) or the Hamburger Standard (normalising rates according to what the same goods e.g. a McDonald's hamburger costs in different countries.
I applied as corporate account and chose business-type account recently, yet I still get (some, not all) rock-bottom EPC.
It is most likely just an accounting item for them

I dont think that Adsense would need to do that. Remember the revenue is calculated not in terms of where the publisher is based but from the country where the ad has been clicked upon. A click from a IP address belonging to an African or Middle East country would bring much lower revenues then a click from a IP belonging to the US or UK since one cannot expect the advertiser to benefit much from a African viewer when he does not sell his products/services in that region.
Many other programs do not even take into account any clicks from Asian, American and Middle east countries.
The program discriminates between viewers and not publishers.

Thanks for welcoming me. I quite like the people and atmosphere here. As warm, friendly and funny as it can get. And no, I havent been here with a different name before. But I do wish I had been here a lot earlier! Probably would have made me think twice about running my first website with autosurf programs and receiving the boot from Google! I like my new name too. Kinda makes me take the whole Adsense stuff a bit lightly.
Beats me about the thread saying it has only three posts in my name. Does this forum update with a delay like Google Adsense?
How is that cheating, unless the autosurf somehow clicks on the ads? It seems to me like all it would do is drive down your CTR.
As per Googles rules generating clicks on the ads as well as generating hits on your websites is considered fraudlent. If you opened your website from the same IP hundreds of times in a day your account can be disabled. Thats what happened when I used the autosurf programs. My site kept getting hits from one server and that was enough to be disqualified for generating hits to my website through fraudlent means.
I still don't follow you. How would it benefit me to have a program repeatedly "visit" my site? You only get paid for ad clicks, not impressions.
For something to be fraud, there usually has to be a benefit to the person doing it. I don't see that here.
And how is that really different from visiting your site manually to make sure it is up and working?
