Ok, there's bound to be a lot of questions, so here are a few of mine straight off:

1. can I put search in an iframe, effectively keeping visitors on site?

2. can I pre-populate the search box with text? So users can just click search instead of type "brown widget 3233A".

From an initial review of the new TOS, question#1 looks a bit of a grey area, and #2 is not allowed since it technically requires modification of the code. Frustrating though...

Another question: have you been able to customize the main results link color? mine keeps defaulting to blue..

A tip: if you're logo isn't showing up, maybe you forgot you configured your server to block image leeching. Well.. if you're a foo like me ;)

I would hope that the rules won't be so stringent on the modification of the code;
Google would really have a hard time checking everyone who changes the code to make their pages xhtml valid, for example.

Still can't get the links to change color, anyone else had any luck? Even the prebuilt color themes don't display as indicated.

The real question is...Why coulden't you put the adsense code in an Iframe? LOL.

Just stick the adsense code in a file called search.html or whatever and point the iframe to that file...then when the user searches he will just be surfing within the Iframe. Furthermore, you are not modifieing the Adsense code in any way what so ever ;)
