All of my sites have stopped delivering adsense, and the page load times are really bad. Anyone else seeing this? Looks like the adsense server cannot be connected to.

Ditto. Adsense is (was) the slowest thing on my sites, and right now its not showing anything.

Yes. It's been happening on my sites and all of the several others I've checked off and on for the last 15 minutes. I'm not sure whether it's been going on longer than that since I wasn't looking at AdSense publisher sites until then.

the page load times are really bad

It looks like the browser (I'm browsing using Mozilla Firefox 0.8) won't load the code after the AdSense JS code until it times out (that appears to be what's happening) so the higher your AdSense JS is in your code the worse the effect will be.

When did this start? My earnings were unusually low yesterday, but potential at the far end of statistically within range. Did this start some time Monday?

Anybody else seeing this?

Stats are even worse than the usual "bad". And ad serving is so slow I may take Adsense off off the site today just till things stablise.

This [webmasterworld.com] is an interesting idea.

Majoe slow downs such as this often happen right before a new feature is launched or a change is made for AdSense or Adwords. I can't remember it normally being so slow just for payments though, so hopefully it is something bigger.

Looking, it appears to be a DNS issue:
[webmasterworld.com...]

Akamai DNS problem

Starting at around 8:30 am EDT (12:30 UTC), a number of sources started to report a widespread Akamai DNS issue. Large web sites, which use Akamai for its DNS service, did no longer resolve. Effected sites are Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, Fedex, Xerox, Apple and likely many others.

[isc.incidents.org...]

I am seeing ads without any problems. Chances are it is not Google at all, but this akamai problem, as many are unable to reach Google. So maybe today isn't the day for a big change, but perhaps for payments ;)

I'm seeing slow display of AdSense ads on some pages at the moment. Not a good look. I'm letting Google know.

I haven't had any problems with ads showing up here in Florida all day. The stats are lagging behind greater than usual though.

It was apparently a distributed DOS attack on Akamai. Google News has some articles about it.
