many are worried they incidentally click on the adsense ads one way or another.

I do not think they should worry abou t that too much. The thing you need to worry is the content. If you do no thave much substance on your website, google might have a legitimate suspecion on your purpose of using adsense. In such acse if you click on ads youself, you proved you are doing something google does not like you doing.

Now if you have lots of content on your site, traffic is busy, and legitimate clicks are huge say 1000 a day. Now if you incidentally click once or twice on the ad yourself. Why should google care about this. The incidental rat eis only 1 out 1000, see the point. Google can not guarantee 100% legitimacy of clicks to the advertisers.

You are still committing fraud by clicking on your own ads, whether you get 1000 clicks a day or 1.

i do not think a honest mistake is a fraud.

Of course i would rather you do not click on any ad on your site, which is obviously violating the terms of adsense.

My point is, the damage by one or two incidental clicks is minimal when you deliver thousands of thousands clicks.

Instead of keeping worrying about the incidents, people may just better focus on adding quality content to their sites and attract more readers, thus increase the traffic and clickthoughs.
