Before anyone starts yapping about the impressions and how maybe i "calculate them wrong" on my (expensive) tracking software save it I have heard it before.
This is the biggest delay i have seen in a year, usually after 30 minutes after the end of the day yesterdays stats are all finalized and up to date, every time i have checked this morning yesterday keeps chaning and today is blank.
Like everyone else, my stats haven't updated today. However some stats from four or five days ago, which I thought were stable, have gone up very, very slightly.
It's almost as if someone at Google has just found a pile of old clicks down the back of the sofa.
Could this be connected with the delay? Are the systems busy catching up with old data that somehow got lost?
Don't forget it is Memorial Day weekend in the US, so perhaps the AdSense team is taking advantage of the reduced traffic to make some changes to AdSense and/or Adwords. We often see significantly delayed stats right before a major change/upgrade.
This is certainly not a delay by any means, it seems that it is more of a log jam total stoppage than a simple delay. I hope yesterday still doubles, but i have a feeling yesterdays stats are pretty close to where they will end.
