Does Jeeves Highjack Adsense

By Framing

Doing searches on Jeeves I noticed that my adsense attributes (i.e. background and border color) were changed and the ads had nothing to do with the content on the page. Why is this? By framing, is Jeeves doing something shady with my Adsense ads -- i.e. taking my Adsense revenue?

I just tried a couple of my sites that run adsense and i see that Google displays my alternate ad while inside the Jeeves frameset.

Now who has a simple frame busting script?

I don't know why the colors are changed, but if you check it would SEEM that the client number isn't changed from your own.

I also got PSAs on what I checked. But even a right click of the link shows my publisher ID, not someone else's.

Perhaps the ‘Framed page’ checkbox in the AdSense script generator would help combat this, but I don't know if this has any effects when the page is normally seen without frames.

I get psa's on the home page, but all the sub-pages i tried are showing normal ads.

I just got regular ads, and they were still my own publisher ID, and the colors were the colors I have specified for my ads, nothing was overruled by AJ.

Thankfully only a handful of people use Jeeves. Otherwise I might have to take this seriously.

Ok, there's an element of truth in the above. Their frame is incredibly annoying, it's a way for them to manipulate their visitor stats.

I use frame busting scripts to defeat Jeeves.

The first page I view from an AJ link has non-site related ads, but they do seem to be paying ads related to general internet stuff. All further pages seem to show the proper targeted ad.

When I tried earlier today, all colors were NOT my own. Checking this instant, the ads are still the same (internet related) but colors are now as they should be. I wonder if someone from Google saw this thread and corrected a problem.
