I think it is better if the check threads are kept to reporting those areas that *have* received checks, rather than lamenting over not receiving it in a certain area yet.

My Google check arrived today in Tampa, FL. As a previous post mentioned, Google has changed its packaging, abandoning the smaller "detach the sides and pull open" style in favor of a regular envelope with windows with the Google return address and the receipient info (with the check and statement inside). Also, unlike months past, the postage is "Presorted First-Class Mail" -- so we don't know the date of the postmark (as least I don't, since no postmark was placed on mine). It does mention, however, that mine was mailed from Zip Code 32256, which is a Jacksonville zip code (I believe this is a departure from the way this was done in the past, where they all appeared to come from the New York City area).

Got my cheque UK this morning - nearest city Liverpool. Postmarked 24th May from Jacksonville, Florida...

Google (or whoever they outsource to) seem to no longer be sending them from New York, New York....

I received my check yesterday in Oregon.

There is no postmark. The envelope is pre-printed with a pre-paid presorted first-class mail stamp.

It was not mailed from New York, at least the zip code on the stamp is not New York.

Perhaps Google has changed check processing companies. The check and envelope are different from previous months.
