Is one image ad worth several text ads?

If an image is taking the place of multiple text ads, does that mean that the advertiser is paying more and the adsense publisher would get more per click?

I'd love to know the answer to this.. so far, I've only had one advertiser rotating an image banner with their normal text ad that seems to be onsite all the time.. I've noticed the EPC seems to be up a bit since I allowed images, but, I could not verify that if my life depended on it.. so far, to my knowledge, I've only had the one rotating in and out but.. due to geo targeting.. who knows really what's been there..

I would like to know because it is affecting my decision to place banner ads on the page also. Does anyone think that text ads will slowly get totally replaced? I hope not.
