This is my first month with adsense. I got my payment approved. What is the big deal? Can you get NOT approved?
Yes, you could have got booted from the scheme, and you'd get no money. I believe they spend the time from the beginning of the month until the "approved" day auditing the results etc.; you may find that it's a couple of cents less than your stats indicated.
Got approved here too, btw.
I mean, i lost some cents too, but rediculously little? Do they really spend manhours on searching for those couple of cents (not even 5 cents... :s)
Anyone else NOT seeing an entry for March earnings?
If it was less than $100 you will not get a payment approved for that month.
How does it come there are a few cents less?
I'm not sure, but perhaps it's associated with Google's cut of the click value, and rounding involved.
Perhaps for the value of the cheque they take their percentage off the total value, but for reporting they take it off the individual click values.
May be complete rubbish, but sounds possible.
As a matter of fact, I've just noticed that I got $0.01 more than I did in reports this month.
now, if only every other program i am with did that...i would have, erm, about a dime!

"Approved" is just Googlespeak for "processed." It means the money was transferred to the company that writes Google's checks. (I think they used to refer to the "approved" date as the payment date, but that caused confusion because people rightly assumed that a "payment" was a check in the mail.)
anyone else not see'ing their payment approved, or is it just me ;), it is over $100 etc.
