Anyone got links to this new rival to Google?

Having found the switch from Google to Adclix has been far better for me (Google can't communicate properly to save their lives), I was wondering what this big thing from Yahoo is, that is coming?

Thanks.

I haven't heard anything. Are you talking about something that has been published that is in the works, and if so can you provide source. Or is this just rumors?

I vaguely remember this being mentioned here on WW, probably a couple of months ago - that Y! was going to be releasing something similar? As I said, vaguely. Maybe it was just a wish...

By Yahoo I'm assuming that you mean Overture 'Adsense' programs? Yahoo wouldn't be using their SiteMatch program for something like this. Overture has resisted the temptation to let anyone and everyone into their affiliate program for years, I don't think they're going to give in now, they'll stick to working with the main players.

We have not announced any products similar to AdSense.

Does that mean that something is in the works but it is not being talked about yet? If nothing is being done, why didn't he just say "We don't have any products similar to AdSense"?

Hmm... let the conspiracy theories begin! =)

just run of the mill corporate speak.....we all have to do it some time....

words matter.

p.s. even if they have NO plans to do it, they don't necessarily want Google to know that for sure.
