PSAs as Tax Write Off

Is anyone using PSAs as a tax write off?

Is anyone here using Adsense PSAs as a tax write off? I wouldn't be comfortable doing this personally unless Google told me how many PSAs run on my site, and I could then take that number and multiply that by my average per click.

I just was wondering if anyone bolder than I is doing this without such stats from Google.

If you're going to do this talk to a tax accountant since there are a lot of hoops and a lot of penalties and fines if you do it wrong.

An accountant or lawyer should be consulted on this. I doubt if there is anything deductable. After all, PSAs reduce your income. The reduction in income automatically reduces your income tax.

If you contribute services (for example, build a website for your church at no charge) you cannot deduct your time. This donation is the same as if you charged the church for the web design and then contributed the money back to them. You would have income and then an offsetting deduction.

Can't speak for other countries, but I am pretty certain you cannot do this under US law.
