I know you need site topic and demographics etc... So as an idea;
60% USA
35% UK
70% Male
Site topic is not a "nieche" (sp!?) - so low amounts earnt per click.
This estimation doesn't have to revolved around google, just really, how much is that amount of traffic worth on the basis of that information.

This would be a guessing game, and the amount of money that you make would depend on your ability to get into good programs, your ratio of uniques to impressions, your site's topic, your layout and how intrusive you wanted to go with the advertising.
Based solely on advertising and affiliates, 1,000,000 impressions could make you anywhere from $500 to $10,000
Even completely untargeted traffic should get you $500 if you are willing to run pops for someone. More if you run pops for a good pop under provider {fastclick}.
Obviously, a site on business loans or mortgages will earn significantly more in AdSense revenue than a site with the indentical impressions/demographics on underwater basket weaving.
Log in Adsense, then goto

Your Overall CPM =Your earnings / Page impressions x 1000

2) CPM x 1000 = 1m Impressions Earnings.
Very Roughly, but measurable, you'll get much better (more precise) results if you have more data.
:-)
I should get around 1,000,000 every 1-2 months with that site now, impressions increasing rapidly every week. Uniques are about 1/10 of this number.. Does this effect the numbers you have been throwing around?
My earnings are definately not what they could be, are there any other reliable banner companies out there like fastclick (They declined on the grounds that they had enough sites of my topic already) As I need to start maximising earnings from this site. It may be having many times more visitors what it is currently having, and I need to be able to pay for extra bandwith etc!
I didn't know this traffic had so much value attatched to it...

Based on an 0.5% CTR and $0.10 per click (low estimates), the value would be $500.
Most people would buy 100,000 (1/10 of 1 mill) pure unique visitors for about $300 (low estimate depending on quality of traffic).
We started Adsense in Dec 2004
Placed ads on some pages way below the fold
lower right corner skyscraper style
We had 0.6% CTR
Made some money... ;-)
Moved the Ads to Top Right Skycraper Position
We went to 4% CTR made more money ;-)
Moved to Above the Fold on Left but not at top
We went to 6% CTR made more money ;-O
Designed pages to wrap our text all around the
Adsense Ads to that there is text above to the left to the right and below the rectangle ads ... now
CTR is averaging about 11.1% ... Yippe
I think this proved to me that publishers
can choose to have 0.6% CTR or make about 23 times that much money, if they want to design the site around the Adsense ads instead of just finding a place to squeeze them on your existing site.
I am concerned that 11% is probably a really high CTR
and possibly might trip some warning at Google
to check out the publisher closely by hand, so that they can determine that there is no fraud going on, which there is not, I just totally redesigned the site, with adsense revenue in mind.
For my peace of mind, do many have as high or higher CTR rates?
Thank you for your responses
Good Luck Everyone
And the programs so that the ads are related to whatever the web page they show up on is about.
For example, if the web page is about classic cars, the ads that appear might be from webites that sell classic car parts, classic cars for , or classic car insurance, etc.
If the page was about mortgages, the mortgage or home loan ads might appear on it.
