Howdy

I'm new to Google adsense. I'm placing them on a few big/medium websites i'm hosting, and revenue is coming pretty fast...

One thing really bothers me though.. I can't seem to get any realtime statistics... It's 11am right now, and I still don't have any stats of today...

That's not good :)

Is there any way (prog?) that can check my stats on a more regular basis?

Thanks in advance
Jinx

Stats can take up to 24 hours to be complete. And the different stats can update at slightly different times (ie. impressions and number of clicks may not be updated at the same time).

Also keep in mind that AdSense stats work on Pacific Standard Time (PST), not based on the time zone each publisher happens to be in.

<added>Unfortunately, we cannot include any links to any sort of tools for stats/programs/tools, and it is always worth keeping in mind that some of them do violate the AdSense terms.</added>

Oh well

the script in that other topic gives an error on my system, and in no way i want to violate their COC...

So i guess i'll just be patient with those stats... =(

I definitely see a slow down compared to last week and before. As has been mentioned before, maybe this indicates that domain/page level stats are being stored as well and will soon be made available to publishers! Finally!

Out of curiousity, what script violates the Adsense TOS? ASA indicated that such scripts were not necessarily problematic.

Jenstar, I'm curious about that as well. You around?

Any script that has you change anything (at all) in the code that Google gives you breaks the TOS. Letting another site run the tracking service *may* be against the TOS as well, although this is a grey area.

jonknee is right.

There is also the consideration for certain "tools" that you are giving your stats to someone else. This is a clear violation, even though that third party says they will not do anything with them, you are still disclosing them to a third party. Some say it is a clear violation, others say it is still an iffy grey area.

I am not going to say what tools are clearly violating (I am familiar with most, if not all, of them) but most of them I wouldn't use myself - why risk losing the income from Google? I am holding out for the new stats that Google will be giving publishers ;)

According to another post by Jenstar, this should be coming soon. I think Google got a kick in the butt when they saw the thread about it here on WW. Yes. We were serious when we said we'd like better reporting.

I guess that's fine. I keep stats on my server. I don't change the Adsense code and I didn't see any scripts that did that.

I can also live with ASA's approval in the absence of something more convincing about Google's TOS.

As for Google's new stats, I'm pretty convinced Google's not going to tell me what impressions will never result in a payout so I'll figure that out for myself and not use Adsense then.

I'm clearly seeing clicks that I think should result in a higher number of clicks but Google's not counting them all.
